Lex Luthor

In the first Super-man movie, in 1978, the villain Lex Luthor played by Gene Hackman was cunning and witty. Luthor, always trying to find ways to rule the world and destroy super-man, was comical at times but mean spirited in the long run.

In 2006's Superman Returns, Luthor was played by Kevin Spacey, somehow brought out the true character I thought. Even though Gene Hackman did a good job in 1978, Kevin Spacey really brought this character to the big screen. I always thought that this character was evil and kiniving and I saw that in 2006.

Looks like a sequel Superman: Man of Steel, to Superman Returns is hopefully going to happen here sometime in 2011. Whenever it comes out though, it is sure to be a good one.
