Crazy for the Crash and Burn!

Crash and burn, sounds like the stuff good action movies are made of doesn't it. Pretty much every action movie has these scenes in them, but they really need to be spectacular to make it a scene worth putting in the movie.

One of the most recent movies I saw with a pretty cool scene in it was knowing. A plane crashed and broke up into a couple of large pieces and all the explosions and aftermath of the crash just seemed realistic. I wouldn't want to actually witness or be involved in a crash like that (judging by the way my stomach started to quiver at the sight of that) but man that scene just blew me away with the realism. In the sequence of events in the movie, this was the first event and really set the tone for the movie.

I don't look specifically for any particular kind of scene in a movie, but I have to admit that most of the time, the trailers lure me.

Another type of scene that one might like or be on the look out for is car chases. Every movie puts its own spin on this type of scene, and almost always is one of the most exciting parts of the movie.
